The people who shape every wall
Facade Sculpture is built around craftsmanship. Each member of our team brings a distinct discipline, from artistic direction to client experience.
Arsen Yakushev
Sculptural Stone · Lead Artist
Arsen Yakushev was born in 1997 in Ternopil, Western Ukraine. His formation as an artist took place outside traditional academic institutions and was deeply rooted in the natural environment, the physical experience of material, and continuous observation of natural processes.
From an early age, he felt a strong connection to nature, especially to stone, mountain structures, and natural sculptural landscapes. This interest was not theoretical or purely aesthetic in a classical sense, but rather an instinctive perception of form, weight, texture, and time. Nature became his first and most important school of perception.
Extensive travel across different regions of the world and direct observation of mountain ranges, volcanic formations, desert landscapes, and coastal cliffs formed the foundation of his artistic thinking. For him, landscape became not just an object of observation but a living system of processes where every form is the result of pressure, time, erosion, and transformation.
A proprietary wet-material technology
A key element of his practice is a proprietary wet-material processing technology. All elements of form - edges, fractures, pores, and textural transitions - are created while the material is still in a wet and plastic state. He works the material as if it were a living mass that responds directly to touch, pressure, and movement, and every action leaves an irreversible trace.
Another essential aspect of his practice is the complete absence of preliminary sketches or rigid design schemes. Each work develops intuitively without a fixed script. The process remains open and unpredictable, and the final form emerges through a dialogue between intention, material, and the moment of execution.
Engineering performance, artistic flexibility
From a technical perspective, the materials are developed as high-performance composite systems that emulate and in some aspects exceed the properties of natural stone. Once the process is complete, the surface achieves high strength, water resistance, thermal stability, UV resistance, and durability under external environmental conditions. A multi-layer application system combined with a three-stage crack-resistance reinforcement process prevents micro-cracking and ensures long-term structural stability.
Arsen works in close interaction with clients, focusing not on imposing a predefined style but on deeply understanding the context of the space, its function, emotional tone, and the client's personal vision. As a result, a unique artistic language emerges at the intersection of sculpture, architecture, and natural landscape - his works are often perceived as geological formations that have always existed, even though they are entirely handcrafted.
